Mothers are among the most courageous people in the world. Raising a child means being brave every single day—brave enough to trust God when you’re out of strength, sanity, and solutions. He created each child with a reason to be here, at this time, to be loved and to learn how to love others. He put in every child’s heart a place only He can fill, and gave every mom the gift and privilege of guiding them into His arms. Together they learn to feel safe there when things aren’t easy; loved and cared for when days are emotionally trying; and accepted and forgiven when they stumble. If God has given you the blessing of being a mom, He has given you the promise that you will not be alone in doing it. You are the everyday hero, and He is the divine power that will give you everything you need the moment you need it. May His grace, peace, and love surround you this Mother’s Day, making you feel as special—and exceptional—as you truly are.
