If God is for us, who can be against us?
ROMANS 8:31 NIV

IF
God’s promises are a sure thing—they are all “Yes” in Christ—they are not “maybe” or “might be” or “might have been” or “it depends.” Jesus—the divine “Yes”—fulfilled all that was prophesied about Him, accomplished all He was sent to do, and made a way that’s still “Yes” for us today.

GOD
The I AM, the First and the Last, the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit—the God who made everything and whose power holds every atom together is the God who does everything according to His will, the God who makes no mistakes, the God who is love, the God who is peace, the God who will reign forever and ever.

IS
Not “was,” not “will be,” not “might be,” not “perhaps”—but He is and always is, now and forever actively engaged in being who He always will be—perfectly.

FOR
On our side, with us, working for our best, cheering us on, rejoicing over us, blessing us, acting as our benefactor and our advocate—He is our shield, our defender, our all in all.

US
You and I…we’re in this together! We’re part of the great “us” of the believers down through the ages, the chosen people, the children of the living God, the ones He knew before the foundation of the world, the ones He formed marvelously according to His plan, the called-out ones, the redeemed, the ones for whom He has prepared a perfect place so that we can dwell there with Him forever, beholding His glory.

WHO
No being or power exists that fits the description of a “who” that can come against our awesome God.

CAN BE
No ability or force present anywhere in the universe can overpower the omnipotent I AM.

AGAINST US
We are on God’s side…the victorious side…the winners—no other side will survive the coming of His power in glory.

Stand firm, confident, and triumphant in the presence of the VICTORIOUS ONE who is and always will be—without a doubt—FOR US!
